2025 ABENY SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION SHEET
On June 14, 2025, at our annual Scholarship and Awards Luncheon taking place at Antun’s in Queens Village, the Association of Black Educators of New York will acknowledge outstanding educators and graduating high school seniors in the public schools. For the first time, ABENY scholars will also be honored at a special celebration which will showcase their achievements on May 31, 2025 at the Cadman Plaza Library in Brooklyn Heights. Eligible students from New York City public and charter schools may apply for one of several ABENY Inc. Endowed Scholarships in the amount of $1,000. To apply for an ABENY Inc. scholarship, students must meet the eligibility requirements below: ABENY Inc. Scholarship is limited to New York City public high school seniors who will graduate from a vocational, academic, or alternative school or will receive an equivalency diploma from a public evening school or a New York City Board of Education alternative educational program.
